Feeling the rush comes with a price…

Mackenzie Cox has lost everything—except Hayden Hayes. With Kenzie’s racing career over, and her family no longer speaking to her, Hayden has been her rock, as she tries to pick up the pieces of what was once her life.

But when Hayden’s racing team hires his beautiful ex-girlfriend, Felicia, to be their new hotshot rider, Kenzie and Hayden’s seemingly solid relationship begins to crack. Kenzie can only watch from the sidelines, as Felicia lives the life she was forced to leave behind, and as tension begins to build between Hayden and Kenzie, she wonders if Hayden isn’t the man she once knew.

Dangerous Rush is a heart pounding, adrenaline induced MUST READ!

Going into this novel, I was a little nervous. I have been anticipating the release of Dangerous Rush since reading the final page of Furious Rush. I am very pleased to announce I loved this novel..maybe a little more than the first book in the series (Furious Rush). It has been a long time since I have been so involved and consumed by a novel that it kept me up straight through the night. Dangerous Rush is that type of novel. I continuously promised myself ‘just one more chapter and then I’ll go to sleep’.

Dangerous Rush is chalked full of jealousy, temptations, and a lie that eventually weaves into a huge web of lies and makes for the perfect fuel to set the angst scale sky-high.

I’m totally an adrenaline junkie over this novel and Because this is a continuation to Hayden and Kenzie’s story I’m going to warn you to read at your own risk! Spoilers may be included.

Dangerous Rush starts right where Furious Rush left off.

Kenzie has made a difficult life decision that has caused her family to basically disown her. Her father has used his last connections as an owner of a highly respected racing team to have her blacklisted from all other racing teams. Now Kenzie’s dreams have all gone up in smoke. but she has one thing she can always count on standing beside her.

She has Hayden.

Kenzie and Hayden’s relationship is strong at the start of this novel. They are each other’s ride or die and have proven time and time again they will do anything for the other. But deep down Hayden is still suffering with the heartbreak he felt four years ago. The source of that heartbreak is now back in the picture and she goes by the name of Felicia.

Felicia gets signed on to Bennetti Motorsports and Keith has his eyes set on a big picture featuring her and Hayden. After the bad blood between Keith and Kenzie’s dad he’s willing to do whatever it takes to cut Kenzie out of Hayden’s life for good, that even involves using Felicia as a decoy to lure Hayden away. I hate Keith! I hate Keith! hey did I mention I don’t particularly care for KEITH?!

Hayden finds himself caught between a rock and a hard place when he is forced to be civil to Felicia. One question burns at the back of his mind.

Why did she leave him four years ago?

Feelings of familiarity start to set in the more time he spends with her. They’ve always had a connection but is he willing to betray Kenzie who would do anything for him just to feel one moment of what crushed him back then and would probably crush him again.

Kenzie has given Hayden everything and all of her, she’s been his ride or die throughout this journey so when she finds herself questioning whether Hayden is being sincere with the things he tells her and truthful with where he’s been her heart starts to build up that proverbial wall around it again.

Hayden has his own ways of doing things. Some of his ways are like pouring gasoline on a match. They are combustible and will no doubt blow up in his face. when one small little white lie is spoken, others surface weaving their way to protect that small white lies. The lies grow exponentially and then the deceitfulness starts to cover up that web.

I had a love hate relationship with Hayden throughout this novel. I loved what he was doing but hated how he went about doing it!! In the end though, I loved how Kenzie stood her ground instead of cowering and being forgiving on the spot, it should she is still the truly independent woman who I have personally grown to admire through this series, even though I personally would have decked Hayden at the first hint of dishonesty.

Overall, I LOVED DANGEROUS RUSH!!!! I loved the adrenaline rush that came with the fact of not knowing if Hayden and Kenzie’s relationship was going to make it or completely crumble. I loved the hot sweaty naked sexy time scenes..especially the one….on the track….at night…on a FREAKIN’ motorcycle!!!

I highly recommend Dangerous Rush to all the angst lovers!

Peace Love and Happy Reading,
