She needed a hero; instead, she got Cade.

Cade was no hero. He was a nomad, a wanderer with no ties and he liked it that way. Hired out to save Fat Louise and her spoiled sister from a cartel run Mexican city was a risk he was willing to take, for the right price. With a certain gray eyed woman on his mind, he set’s out to find her, fuck her and forget her. No harm, no foul. But it’s all easier said than done when it comes to this plain Jane.

He expected a biker bitch who knew the rules; instead, he got Fat Louise.

Fat Louise wasn’t about to put her crew in danger. She had to learn to handle problems on her own, even if they included a six-foot biker she was forced to rely on, if she was going to rescue her sister. She never expected to see Cade again after she’d left Mexico, but all it takes is one night with him to prove that even a bitch’s heart can be broken.

Fat Louise is the second book in the Biker Bitches series, and the tenth book in Jamie Begley’s reading order.

I was a little surprised that I didn’t like this one as much as what I initially anticipated. Fat Louise is the most soft-hearted of the Biker Bitches. I related to her in all the other books and her softness spoke to me causing me to really like her character. However, in this novel, her characters came off more as a doormat that the soft hearted woman I know she is.

Cade is the hero of the story. When he first stepped on scene I loved his vibe. He had a no bullshit aire about him that really called to me. But then…..Things took a turn for my man Cade.

I expect the man who is ultimately matched up with Jane (aka Fat Louise) to be considerate but domineering, Loving and a little possessive towards his relationship. What I didn’t like was the fact that this man turned into a bigger womanizing manwhore the minute things got too serious. Not to forget the fact that he jumped to conclusions and acted like a spoiled child throwing a tantrum! That was the last thing I wanted for Fat Louise and because of Cade’s womanizing ways I had to drop my rating down to a 3 star.

I did however love the adrenaline pumping action/adventure vibes in the beginning of this novel that screamed DANGER!

Overall, Fat Louise was just an okay read for me….:(
I wanted and needed more chemistry where this couple is concerned.
The last two books I’ve read in this reading order I have rated three stars. I’m getting a little bit nervous about continuing on with this series. Hopefully these novels pick up soon. We shall see.
