Hi! I’m Alecia and I run The Staircase Reader book blog.

My love for reading started when I was young. I always had a book in hand and a story on my mind. At the age of eleven I found myself sneaking into my mom’s library stash and taking her harlequin romance novels. The obsession started and I soon developed the ‘hopeless romantic’ syndrome. I’ve been hooked ever since!

I started The Staircase Reader book blog as a way to talk about the books I love with others that love books just as much. I’ve met some kick ass bloggers and authors along my journey of blogging which makes this experience that much more incredible!

A few random facts about me:

I’m not only a romance junkie but also a coffee addict which isn’t a good thing due to the fact that I’m super sensitive to Caffeine…and decaf is not an option.

I’m a go with the flow type of person.

I like my hair long but hate when random people walk up to me and touch it! Seriously…it happened at a concert…I can’t make this shit up!

I laugh when I’m in pain…true story…I stub my toe everyday on the same kitchen chair no matter how many times I move it out of my way, Its my daily dose of humor.
