Synopsis:

Willow Mayson isn’t ready to just dive head first into love, or at least not with any of the men she’s dated.

Then she shares a single unexpected kiss with a complete stranger.

Clay Raven doesn’t want the strings of a woman tied to him in any way. His priorities are his family, his job, and finding the people responsible for helping to kill his sister.

One kiss shouldn’t have the ability to change that.

Even with the chemistry between them, Willow attempts to put distance between her and Clay but the guy is tenacious, until he’s not.

For a guy who’s never put much effort into any woman, Clay learns quickly that he’s going to have to fight, chase, and manipulate his way into Willows life if he wants to be a part of it.

Then just when Willow begins to let her guard down her friend is murdered setting off a string of events that could change the course of their lives forever.

Are you ready for another BOOM?

If you’re in the mood for some HOT AF alpha-males and the women who push them until they finally break… look no further and pick up this series… and Until Willow!

Until Willow is Willow Mayson (Nico and Sophie’s daughter) and Clay Raven’s story. And believe me when I say, Clay will have you swooning soooo hard!

Willow Mayson has a streak with relationships… she meets a nice guy, settles down with nice guy for a year or so, and then gets bored from the redundancy of their relationship and splits, and then becomes friends with them. What she wants is a man with a little mystery, who’s not afraid to throw her over his shoulder and haul her away. She wants a man who won’t back down to her stubborn ways… you know what they say, be careful what you wish for. Never in a million years would she even imagine meeting the man who was meant for her outside of a liquor store, embracing her in his arms and kissing her until she couldn’t remember her name. You see, even before Willow knew his name, he was stepping up to the table protecting her. That’s just the man Clay is, he’s a fierce protector.

Whereas Willow had a family to protect her, Clay was on the opposite side of the family spectrum. He found himself in the foster care system at a young age and that’s where he met the boys he calls his brothers. Now, Clay and his brothers are looking to take down an organization that took one of their own. And they’ll do everything in their power to see the traffickers crumble to the ground. But what Clay didn’t counter in to the equation was one spitfire who tore down everyone of his walls guarding his heart with just one glance…. Now the stakes are raised and Clay’s mission has changed. He’ll do everything in his power to protect Willow from anything that comes to harm her…. Even if his brother’s disagree.

My Thoughts:

One thing I love about Aurora Rose Reynolds’ writing is she always brings the heart and the heat. Every time I pick up a novel from this author, I instantly know I’m guaranteed an epic happily ever after ending. She brings her A-Game with each and every romance. Therefore, that is the main reasoning why I love the Until Series and the spinoff/next generation Until Her/Him Series. I have so much love fore the Mayson men… but let me tell you, these Mayson women really outshine the men!! Willow especially!

I love the fact that Willow Mayson is stubborn and has a mind of her own. She’s not afraid to speak what’s on her mind and lead in her own footsteps. One of my favorite moments was watching her step up to her father, she’s definitely her daddy’s daughter through and through. And don’t even get me started on her stubbornness towards Clay. But no matter how hard she pushed him away, at the end of the night, her mind was always on him. I understood her fear of getting into a relationship and developing feelings so fast when it came to Clay. Having just had an epiphany about her past relationships and all that went wrong, I wouldn’t blame her for wanting to step back and look at the full picture. But through it all, Clay was there around every turn waiting for her. And believe me when I say, when she finally had her come to Jesus moment. I couldn’t help but cheer her on and hope for the best!

Bottom line, these two were meant to be together! I love the fact that ARR always couples up people you wouldn’t normally think would fit together. But that’s where the best stories come from. There were a few ups and downs with Clay and Willow, but they got through it all together and fought to keep their happily ever after alive….. And that’s why I love ARR’s writing and story telling so much, she always brings the BOOM! And as a romance reader, I appreciate those epic moments.

Now onto why I had to drop a star rating… I gave Until Willow a four star read simply due to the fact that I wanted the suspense level to be higher. This novel is surrounded by suspense and the infamous, who did it, moment. Sadly, I guessed early on who the culprit was…. And that made the climatic point of the story semi-anticlimactic for me.

Overall, I really loved the romance and the relationship between Willow and Clay. and I loved the hell out of Willow’s character. I can’t wait to see what ARR has up her sleeve next!! I need more BOOM!
